High school days are times that swiftly pass but the memories are often shaped by events, such as prom, pep rallies, homecoming games and dances, and ultimately, graduation. These are the events that help shape a well-rounded high school career. During those experiences we often rely on student-led organizations to spark the interest for us to enjoy those traditional high school moments. Fortunately for us, here at Randallstown High School (RHS), we have the RHS Spirit Club! I had the opportunity to interview the Spirit Club advisor, Marc Stevens, as well as Tia Hernandez, Spirit Club the social media manager. “Spirit club is a student organization that was designed to change the climate and the culture of the building,” Stevens stated, “we can be more creative and generate ideas.” Spirit Club’s main objective is to involve the student body by giving back to the school with events. The Spirit Club wants to become a well-known club around the school and wants more activity from the students. Stevens often states in his meetings with the club, “It starts with you, the students.”
